Following the considerations developed in an article concerning the origin of the constituent process in Chile, published in the previous issue of this journal, this work addresses the constituent process developed in Chile (2020-2022), from the entry plebiscite held on October 25, 2020, to the exit plebiscite on September 4, 2022. Notably, the article discusses the consequences of the established electoral system and how it became one of the causes of constitutional failure.
