The article analyzes the historical dynamics of the Swedish constitutional system in light of the constitutional revision of 1974-1975 and subsequent reforms. In particular, the topics covered are the type of constitutionalism, the dynamics of the form of government still inspired by negative parliamentarism and the political system, the peculiarities of administrative agencies, the system of guarantees (judicial review of legislation and judicial independence), and the repercussions of the European integration process. In conclusion, it is highlighted how this system, based on widespread consensus, balance, prudence, and trust, represents a model of active and intelligent constitutional resilience.
