In this article the Author reflects on the contribution made by Prof. Mariangela Ripoli regarding law teaching, thus inquiring on the recent evolution of the regulations which on the one hand diminish studying law, entrusting the teaching of civics to non-specialist professors. On the other hand, backed by jurisprudence, it favors a generally defensive approach in matter of didactics, more aimed at avoiding the contentious, rather than promoting a formative success by the students.
