The essay aims at highlighting the origins and the characters of Ley 19/2022 about "Mar Menor", a salad lagoon in the region of Murcia which became a legal entity to protect its delicate ecosystem. The author analyses this act and the holding of Spanish Constitutional Court about this new legislative trend relating to the rights of Nature.
