The analyses carried out by the Regional Observatories provide a broad range of information on the local situations and, in particular, on the way in which integration between health care and social assistance is achieved in the different regions. Following the reform of the non-self-sufficiency policy, which left the question of funding unresolved and the question of integration open, the ability to reorganise services continues to differ between regions. The article shows how Observatories’ reports show different levels of progress in three regions located in three different macro-areas of the country.
