The aim of the work is to highlight the different treatment that the jurisprudence and the majority doctrine recognize to filiation from same-sex couples in relation to the sex of the prospective parents. Furthermore, it aims to demonstrate that the institution of adoption in particular cases is not always suitable for pursuing the aim of protecting the minor.
