Poverty is a complex and multifactorial phenomenon that has a significant impact on the children's rights. Starting from this assumption, this contribution analyses, with a view to the protection of human rights, and in the light of fundamental principles, the international and European conventions concerning the fight against trafficking in human beings and the fight against violence against women and minors. In this context, the vulnerable condition of minors fleeing the war against Ukraine takes on particular importance. Thus, the contribution focuses on the European Union's temporary protection for Ukrainian minors in an evolutionary and systematic perspective, allowing to draw some final considerations.
