330Artificial intelligence (Ai) in education is an interdisciplinary field of research that involves the integration of intelligent technologies into learning environments. Interest has focused on intelligent learning environments, advanced systems that promote adaptive processes and opportunities for interaction and personalization of the learning experience. The introduction of Ai in education is not limited to improving student performance, but also affects the quality of teaching. The training of new emerging professionals in the field of artificial education aims to implement both didactic and adaptive assistance, i.e. assistance aimed at respecting personal learning processes regulated by biological factors. The key points of advanced teaching and learning models in the application of Ai in education focus on the concepts of flexibility and personalization for tailor-made teaching, understood as a dynamic, self-paced process, as each student evolves at different times and in different ways. The aim is to instill self-efficacy, awareness of their own cognitive identity and openness to change in students, so the perspective of Ai supervised by humans, which ensures control and responsibility, should be integrated in a complementary way with the perspective of Ai designed to meet human needs, supporting the development of learning and individual skills. This is human-centered Ai, which deepens interaction with technologies by overcoming the focus on productivity and performance and instead focusing on approaches that enhance human potential. Research questions related to this approach concern not only what Ai can do for us humans, but also what Ai can help us do independently (intelligent augmentation) and how education can follow the resulting innovative process by training professionals who are prepared for change and able to prepare others for it.
