The present contribution aims to establish the psychometric proprieties and to evaluatethe predictive power of the University entrance examination to the faculty of psychologyat the academic year 2002-03. The students' academic performance was measured afterthree years. The predictive power of the overall score to the test and the partial scores itssections (4) and sub-sections (6) was measured. The results indicate that the overall scoreand some partial scores are predictive of the university performance in qualitative terms(means of the exams grade), but not in quantitative one (number of given exams). Someabilities, evaluated by specific sections of the test, are particularly relevant in the buildingof a positive curricular story.
