The article delves into the relationship between Michel Foucault’s and Gilles Deleuze’s concepts of problematization, emphasizing their philosophical interplay. It highlights how both thinkers regard problems as central to their methodologies, with Foucault’s approach rooted in historical analysis and Deleuze elevating this notion to an ontological level. While Foucault’s later works explicitly articulate problematization as a method, Deleuze’s earlier writings introduce the idea of a "violence of the sign", which compels thought and challenges conventional interpretations.
