167The paper discusses the issue of financial and social inclusion on the basis of more than 10 years of ethnographic studies conducted in the context of traditional and critical finance. During this research period, various attempts were observed of a minority of practitioners to activate counter-hegemonic, practical and discursive elaborations of financial solutions. These took into account everyday life conditions "at the margins", playing mainly on overturning time frames, revising deadlines, that is, overturning imaginaries, unveiling the dogmatism of traditional solutions in order to dignify living conditions not noticed or taken into account by the welfare state. The paradigm shifts from the emphasis on individualization of current financialized welfare solutions of traditional finance to solutions that are based on cross-class, gender, ethnic and intergenerational social solidarity are called into question. However, it is also pointed out how the latter are not widely diffused or fully implemented in the world of alternative finance and require a rethinking of the role of the state.
