73This article tries to highlight some internal aspects of the personalist reflection of the last century, to explore its implications from a theoretical, legal and political perspectives. In the context of philosophical-juridical and political analysis, the concept of «person» has represented a tool of crucial importance to configure an intermediate way between opposing tendencies: collectivism and individualism, violence and emotional relationships, State and social bodies. This mediation capacity of the legal component is highlighted by various authors (in particular, among others: Jean Lacroix and Emmanuel Mounier) belonging to the aforementioned current. In this paper we attempt to enhance it, emphasizing more decisive elements.
