Italy is a nation that historically represents one of the benchmarks for entrepreneurial ability in western countries. However, the fabric of small and medium-sized Italian companies has weakened in recent years and there is less vitality than in the past, which particularly concerns the artisan system. This in-depth study examines the phenomena of entrepreneurship dynamics in Italy, with particular attention to the younger generations and aspects concerning the widespread culture and training system. It analyses the health of the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem and the capacity to support entrepreneurship in this important transition phase.
