The essay analyses the possible consequences of applying AI to the judicial system: in the author's opinion, the risk of privatisation of the judicial system and especially of the judiciary would lead to the realisation of a democratic dystopia in which citizens' rights would be subordinated to the profit of large corporations in the sector. The author proposes a reform of the judicial administration and the creation of AI of a public nature, under the democratic control of Parliament and citizen representatives.
