432The paper explores moral motivation internalism, that is, the thesis on which the part of Mackie’s argument from queerness concerning the motivating force of objective moral values is based. According to this thesis, morality has an intrinsic motivating force. In particular, the paper deals with the question of which version of internalism the argument from queerness needs to be valid. Three versions are discussed: a metaphysical, an espistemological, and a psychological version. It is argued that neither the first nor the third one are adequate. Hence the conclusion that the second version, that is, moral knowledge internalism, is the most adequate for the validity of Mackie’s argument.
