446The proposed contribution addresses the process of (re)defining territorial social and health infrastructures in relation to the complexity of organisational and institutional processes, and the different forms of knowledge involved, such as technical, disciplinary and experiential knowledge, as well as citizen participation. Specifically, the empirical study focuses on the transition from «Health House» to «Community House» in a neighbourhood in Bologna. This presentation will cover the most relevant findings of an ongoing investigation conducted jointly by researchers from the University of Bologna and local stakeholders, including operators, administrators, citizens and associations. The paper will explore the potential and problems that emerge in the social construction of the «Community House», which is a key infrastructural element of health governance. This concept is redefined as a complex objective that requires the implementation of care logics (Tronto 2013, 2015; Puig de la Bellacasa 2017; Woodly et al. 2021; Fragnito and Tola 2021) in the sociosanitary field and more broadly in relation to the environment and territory for the construction of publicly-oriented infrastructure. The proposed perspective is that of «infrastructure as a method» to overcome analyses that problematise its exclusively material and functional dimensions (Borghi & Leonardi, 2024).
