109The advancement of digital technologies has reshaped the methods of humanities research. This paper contributes to the ongoing dialogue at the intersection of computational analysis and literary scholarship by examining how Virginia Woolf’s clothing and fashion-related language functions as a stylistic marker that engages with issues of gender and social equity. The study analyses three short stories and two novels, Mrs Dalloway and Orlando: A Biography, using digital tools and a corpus stylistics approach to reveal how clothing serves as a lexical thread in character construction. By combining quantitative and qualitative methods, this research demonstrates how this innovative approach can enhance literary analysis and deepen the interpretation of literary texts.
