Community cooperatives represent an innovative form of collective enterprise that brings together local development, the enhancement of cultural heritage, and social cohesion. These organizations, rooted in their territories and founded on the active participation of citizens, respond to the concrete needs of communities through models of collaborative economy and mutuality. This contribution explores the characteristics, principles, and processes involved in establishing community cooperatives, analyzing their role in strengthening local identity and regenerating common goods, with particular attention to virtuous cases of cultural and territorial enhancement in fragile contexts.
