208The Special Public-Private Partnership (PSPP) represents an advanced form of Public-Private Partnership (PPP), specifically designed for the enhancement of cultural heritage, such as museums, archaeological sites, and cultural assets. Although this form of collaboration offers significant opportunities for expansion and social relevance for cultural enterprises (particularly cooperatives), it involves a complex set of risks and responsibilities that require careful evaluation and structured analysis (due diligence). This article analyzes the critical factors for the economic sustainability of PSPPs, emphasizing the importance of rigorous context analysis, realistic financial projections, and risk mitigation strategies, which are essential for transforming the opportunity into a successful, sustainable, and replicable model. The success of PSPPs depends on a paradigm shift towards a culture of shared responsibility and selective use of the tool, only where the necessary contextual, financial, and governance conditions exist.
