The contribution deals with the study of the Italian legal framework on the international protection of migrants in relation to the provisions introduced in the EU / non EU States. Moreover, some aspects on the division of competences between State and Regions as well as the problematic issues concerning the administrative procedure for issuing residence permits in Italy and the judicial protection, are further deepened.
