Driven by technology, humanity is projecting itself into outer space. This torsion, however, seems to be increasingly marked by hegemonic instances and conflicting logics that risk fraying the fabric of the Corpus iuris civilis. Adopting a genealogical approach and using the tools of Schmitt’s geophilosophy of law, it may be fruitful to investigate the main critical factors
