Even though apparently fading in terms of scientific interest and public perception, the issue of the social security and pension measures for the ministers of the churches still offers a peculiar overview on themes such as the freedom of choice in getting retirement benefits, the religious internal legal orders, the organization of the public spending in guaranteeing social rights. The aim of the analysis is to demonstrate this undeniable consequence by pointing out recent leading cases.
