The paper addresses gender violence from the perspective of the categories of constitutionalism, trying to highlight the (unresolved) issues and the (possible) turning points. By retracing the evolution of the legislation on gender violence, its characteristics and its implicit implications, the article tries to focus on the risks that this sort of specialized gender law reveals.
