The note focuses on sentences no. 2010 of 2024 and no. 1 of 2025, both of which are important for the issue of the so-called double preliminary ruling, constitutional and euro-unitary, trying to frame them in the context of recent case law. A further innovative orientation is emerging, not unscathed by critical elements, which concerns the immediate submission to the Constitutional Court of the suspected contrast between Italian law (in these cases, two provincial laws) and EU law with direct effects; this orientation seems to be linked to the particular perspective taken, also in doctrinal terms, by the same judge-editor, Giovanni Pitruzzella.
