Nessuna sottomissione is a critique of women's oppression, in its connection with all forms of exploitation. In alluding to the prospect of the "absence of government or any other supreme power", anarchafeminism fails to specify the role of politics and law, nor their perspective in a (democratic?) stateless society. In addressing the connections between "mancracy" and capitalism, it fails to resolve the question of whether there is an original form of oppression and what it is. Anarcha-feminism refers to a philosophy of transindividuality, and the question remains whether such a foundation is necessary for its consistency, whether it is ultimately a "metaphysical" or "political" theory. Likewise, its being a "critique without a subject" leaves open the question of who enacts change.
