The aim of this paper is to propose a thematic and linguistic analysis of a genre that has (hitherto) been little-studied: the war almanacs, where propaganda is working under the radar. In particular, this work focuses on Kriegsalmanach 1914-1916, relating it to other almanacs from the same context.
