147The monist conception of experience is a key aspect of Natorp’s transcendental idealism. The «monism of experience» doesn’t only seem to be closely related to the idea of a «critical psychology», but also influences Natorp’s relationship, that is not devoid of polemical elements, with naturalist psychology and Husserlian phenomenology itself. In the "Allgemeine Psychologie", the «monism of experience» presents itself as a philosophical perspective that affirms the correlation between subjectivity and objectivity and the ideal-limit of their «concurrence». This is why it can be regarded as one of the theoretical assumptions by the «last» Natorp, who committed himself to search for the «original unit» from which the distinction between «subjective» and «objective» derives.
