With more than fifty original translations and numerous reproductions, Xi'an Nestorian Stele became one of the most researched Chinese texts soon after its discovery, its translations deeply reflecting the translators' historical and religious context and their identity. This note aims to provide a contextualised list of translations, from its discovery to nowadays, intended to become a tool for subsequent studies on the historiography of the Stele and on the diverse interpretations of its doctrinal component.
