How are sexual identifications constructed during adolescence? How do boys face with this liminal age and the contemporary reconfigurations of masculine gender models? A vast pedagogical and sociological literature has shown how normative ideals of masculine sexual identity among young people are still strongly linked to the reproduction of an adamantine heterosexuality. The resulting forms of misogyny and homobitransphobia are equally well documented. In this contribution we focus on the silent and ordinary reproduction of the hegemonic heterosexual norm in order to show how it shapes informal education paths during adolescence. Drawing from empirical research outcomes, the text also discusses how this dialectic of reproduction of gender and sexual (hetero)norms is strongly imbricated with the individual and social construction of adolescence as a crucial biographical transition.
