The article examines the Italian 2025 Budget Law by considering the regulations referring to healthcare. The primary focus is on the resources allocated to the Italian National Health Service (NHS). The scarcity of resources has made it impossible to renew healthcare workers’ employment contracts, which have long expired. Finally, the article discusses some key issues, including funding for private healthcare, the involvement of patient associations in decision-making processes, the financing of oncological and cardiological screenings, and the inadequacy of resources allocated to non-self-sufficiency.
