During his life, Nicholas of Cusa dealt with the Hussite question on several occasions. However, research has only rarely addressed this issue in a systematic way, often focusing on isolated aspects or specific phases of the confrontation. The aim of this contribution is to reconstruct the stages of Nicholas of Cusa’s dialogue with the Hussites, seeking to shed light on the fundamental philosophical and theological principles that inspired it, and to determine the extent to which these principles guided his political practice.
