The paper reconstructs the activities carried out by the journal Aedon since its establishment in 1998 and twenty years after the adoption of Legislative Decree No. 42/2004, taking into account the incessant and spasmodic legislative innovations in the field of cultural heritage and landscape law, as well as the regulation of important "pieces" of cultural heritage law existing outside the Code.
